Day 1: Arrival in Chennai and Transfer to Tirupati 

Your journey begins in Chennai and then transfers to Tirupati, the serene town nestled in the Tirumala Hills. Home to the renowned Sri Venkateswara Temple, Tirupati is celebrated for its magnificent Dravidian architecture and profound spiritual significance.

Temple Timings: 

Open Daily: 2:30 AM – 1:30 AM (the next day) 

Break Timings: The temple is closed for a short break between 1:30 AM and 2:30 AM. 

Darshan Timings: 

Suprabhatam Seva: 3:00 AM – 3:30 AM 

Main Darshan: 4:00 AM – 1:30 AM (the next day) 

Special Darshan for Physically Disabled & Aged: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM, 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM 

Prasadam: 

Laddu Prasadam is a popular offering at the temple. 

Dress Code: 

Traditional attire is mandatory for entry into the temple. 

Day 2: Exploring Tirupati and Tiruchanur 

After your darshan at Sri Venkateswara Temple, proceed to the Tiruchanur Padmavathi Amman Temple, which is dedicated to the goddess Padmavathi, the consort of Lord Venkateswara.  

Tiruchanur Padmavathi Amman Temple 

Deity: The temple is dedicated to Padmavathi (Alamelumanga), the consort of Venkateswara, an incarnation of goddess Lakshmi. 

Location: Situated in the Tiruchanur area of Tirupati city, Andhra Pradesh, India, and managed by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams. 

Legend: Padmavathi was born to Akasha Raja and wed Venkateswara after appearing on a red lotus in the Padmasarovaram tank, a sacred Pushkarini. 

Temple Timings: Opens at 4:50 AM and closes at 9:30 PM on most days; opens at 3:30 AM on Fridays. 

Festivals: The Annual Padmavathi Brahmotsavam culminates with Chakra Snanam in Padmasarovaram, attracting lakhs of devotees.
