A trip to the four holy places of Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath is called the Chardham Yatra. It is one of the most important pilgrimages in India. These holy places, all in the beautiful Himalayas, are called the "Chardham" and are thought to be where gods and goddesses live. Not only is the Chardham yatra package from Haridwar is a spiritual trip, but it is also a chance to see the Himalayas' stunning beauty.
Beginning the trek in Haridwar, a city with many religious meanings, gives the trip a special twist. One of the seven most excellent places for Hindus is Haridwar, whose name means "Gateway to God." It is a spiritual centre and the starting place for the Chardham Yatra. It is on the banks of the Ganges.
Day 1: Drive from Haridwar to Barkot, which is 210 km and takes 6–7 hours
When you get to the Haridwar Railway Station, a person will greet and meet you. Transfer to a car and drive through Mussoorie to get to Barkot. On the way, you can enjoy the beauty of Kempty Falls. When you get to Barkot, check-in at the hotel. Stay the night and have dinner.
Day 2: Drive 42.2 km from Barkot to Yamunotri and then walk 6 km back to Barkot.
Drive to Jankichatti or Phoolchatti at 5 a.m. and begin the 6-km trip to Yamunotri. You can walk, ride a horse, or rent a Doli, but it will cost you extra. Then take a bath in Jamunabai Kund's TaptKund (Hot Water Spring) and see Yamunotri Ji. After that, walk down to Jankichatti and then drive to Barkot. Dinner and a night's stay at Barkot.
Day 3: Go from Barkot to Uttarkashi, which is 100 km away and takes 5 to 6 hours.
Check out of the hotel between 9 and 10 a.m. after breakfast and drive to Uttarkashi. When you get to Uttarkashi, check in at your hotel. In the evening, go to the Kashi Vishwanath Temple and the Uttarkashi market. Dinner, and then spend the night in Uttarkashi.
Days 4: Uttarkashi to Gangotri and back to Uttarkashi (100 km, 3–4 hours each way)
The drive to Gangotri starts at 5 AM sharp. On the way, you can take a holy bath in Tapt Kund (Hot Spring) in Gangnani and then drive through the beautiful Harsil Valley to reach Gangotri. People love Harsil because it is so lovely and has such great views of the mountains and Deodar trees. When you get to Shree Gangotri, you should take a holy dip in the sacred Ganges River, which starts as the Bhagirathi River. After you do Pooja and Darshan, take some time to relax in the beautiful settings. After that, go back to Uttarkashi by car. Dinner, and then spend the night in Uttarkashi.
Day 5: From Uttarkashi to Guptkashi or Sitapur (230 km, 9–10 hours)
Once the food is ready, drive through Moolgarh and Lambgoan to get to Guptkashi or Sitapur around 8 AM. At Tilwara, you can see the beautiful Mandakini River on the way. The Mandakini river starts in Kedarnath. To get to Guptakashi, drive along the river and stop at the Ardh Narishwar Temple. When you get to Sitapur, check into your hotel. Have dinner and a night's stay at the hotel.
Day 6: Go from Guptkashi or Sitapur to Kedarnath.
Option 1: After breakfast in the morning, drive to the helipad at Guptkashi, Phata, or Sersi at the time given by the helicopter company and get on the chopper for Shri Kedarnath Ji. After 15 minutes of flying, land at the landing at Kedarnath Ji, look around, do some prayers, and then stay the night. You can either stay at Kedarnath Ji or go back to Sitapur and stay there.

Option 2: Leave the hotel early at 3 AM and drive to Sonprayag, where you can catch a government car for GauriKund (6 km; Rs. 10/-). Start your hike to Shri Kedarnath Ji from there. After an 8-hour, 19-kilometer walk, you'll reach Kedarnath Ji. Take a look around and do Pooja. You can stay the night at Kedarnath Ji or go back and stay at Sitapur.
Day 7: From Kedarnath to Sitapur or Guptkashi
Option 1: Get to the helipad early in the morning and catch the chopper. Fly back to Guptkashi or Sitapur and then go to Joshimath, Pipalkoti, or Govindghat, which is 170 km away and takes 7 hours. On the way, stop by Ukhimath, the winter home of Kedarnath Ji. When you get there, check-in at the hotel and spend the night at Govindghat.
Option 2: If you returned from Kedarnath the same day and are staying in Guptkashi or Sitapur, leave the hotel after breakfast and drive 170 km (7 hours) to Joshimath, Pialkoti, or Govindghat. On the way, stop by Ukhimath, the winter home of Kedarnath Ji. By getting to the hotel, you can stay the night in Joshimath, Pialkoti, or Govindghat.
Choice 3: Start the journey again early in the morning and get to Gaurikund. After that, drive to Sitapur and stay there for the night.
Day 8: Joshimath, Pipalkoti, Govindghat, and Badrinath
Option 1: After breakfast in the morning, check out of the hotel and drive 30 km (about 2 to 3 hours) to Badrinath Darshan. People on pilgrimage can take a bath in the Tapt Kund and see Badrivishal and Aarti in the evening. For Pinddan Shraddh of ancestors (Pitrus), Brahamakapal is essential. Mana, Vyas Gufa, Maatamoorti, Charanpaduka, Bhimkund, and the "Mukh" of the Saraswati River are other interesting places to visit. Have dinner and spend the night at Badrinath.
Option 2: Leave your hotel in Sitapur and drive 180 km (8–9 hours) to Badrinath in the morning. On the way, stop by Ukhimath, the winter home of Kedarnath Ji. When travellers arrive, they can bathe in the Taptkundhave and see Badrivishal and the evening Aarti. For Pinddan Shraddh of ancestors (Pitrus), Brahamakapal is essential. Mana, Vyas Gufa, Maatamoorti, Charanpaduka, Bhimkund, and the "Mukh" of the Saraswati River are other exciting places to visit. Have dinner and spend the night at Badrinath.
Day 9: Drive 160 km (6–7 hours) from Badrinath to Rudraprayag or Srinagar.
Check out of the hotel in the morning after viewing and food. Drive to Rudraprayag or Srinagar via Joshimath. Stop at Joshimath to see the Narsing Temple, where Shree Badrinath Ji spends the winter. After that, go to Rudraprayag or Srinagar. Stop at Nand Prayag and Karna Prayag on the way. Check into the hotel for dinner and the night when you get there.
Joshimath: Joshimath, also known as Jyotirmath, is a hill town in Uttarakhand's Chamoli district that is 6150 meters above sea level. In the 800s, Adi Guru Sankaracharya built it. It is where Lord Badri spends the winter, and his idol is moved from Badrinath.
Rudraprayag: The Rudraprayag is very famous among Hindus. It is where the rivers Alaknanda and Mandakini meet. It looks beautiful and is the way to get to Badrinath and Kedarnath.
Rudraprayag Weather: It gets scalding in the summer, with temperatures running from 35 to 40 degrees Celsius, so that's not the best time to go. In the winter, on the other hand, the weather stays nice during the day, making it the best time for the tour. In the winter, the temperature at night can drop to anywhere from 5 to 20 degrees Celsius, making it very cold.
Day 10: 160 km (six to seven hours) from Rudraprayag or Srinagar to Haridwar.
Leave the hotel for Haridwar after a healthy breakfast. Stop at the Dhari Devi Temple, Dev Prayag, and Rishikesh on the way. And then end your holy trip to Haridwar. When you get there, drop off the guest at their place and continue your trip.
